Akshay Kumar has waived off his entire fee for Khatta Meetha and Tees Maar Khan. Akshay Kumar who attained notoriety as the actor who was reportedly signed for as high a fee as Rs 71 crore for a film has had a change of mind.
Reliable market sources say that the entire completion cost of Akshay’s next two films -Khatta Meetha directed by Priyadarshan andTees Maar Khan directed by Farah Khan will reportedly not exceed Rs 35 crore.
According to one trade source, “The cost of making Khatta Meetha and Tees Maar Khan will not include the actor’s fee.”
The same source alleged that when Akshay realised that his films Chandni Chowk to China, Kambakkht Ishq and Tasveer lost money because of his individual fee as an actor, he decided to make a market correction.
Having studied the current Bollywood trade scene, the actor in concurrence with his filmmakers has decided not to charge a single penny for his films. However, Akki’s banner Hari Om Productions is a co-producer for Khatta Meetha andTees Maar Khan.
The actor explained the logic behind this drastic move of not charging his market fee, “My fee for both films will be zero. If both films are hits, then my production house will stand to benefit by getting a part of the profits. If the film is average, the profit margin will automatically be reduced. However, it’s important to note here that even if the film flops, no one will lose money because the budget has been controlled. By not charging my personal remuneration as an actor, I’m making sure that these films will at least romp home with no losses.”
Trade sources claim that the Akshay module is being closely watched by all actors who have home productions.

Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Wasim Akram will teach bowling skills to Akshay Kumar for his upcoming film “Patiala House”.
In the film Akshay Kumar turns into a cricketer from London and will be seen playing World Cup matches. The cricket matches will be shot at London’s Oval and Lord’s cricket grounds.
Director Nikhil Advani wants the cricket sequences to look as authentic as possible and Akshay to appear convincing as a world class bowler. So Nikhil thought of getting some bowling lessons for Akki and approached Wasim Akram for the same.
Even though Wasim is still mourning the untimely loss of his wife Huma, he agreed to do so.
The training will start as soon as Akshay recovers from his back injury.
Meanwhile in order to get better faster, Akshay and wife Twinkle have made a quick dash to Hamburg, Germany, for a two-day course in hydrotherapy at a spa.

Bollywood Gossip : Cricketers venturing into the world of  Bollywood seems to be the latest fad this season. Former Pakistani cricketer star Wasim Akram is the latest entrant in the list of bollywood as he is all set to introduce himself before the audience as an actor.

According to Bollywood News, Wasim Akram will reportedly make his acting debut in Nikhil Advani’s next film, Patiala House which also stars Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar.

The script of the Bollywood Movie Patiala House is apparently based on cricket and Wasim Akram will be playing the role of a coach to Akshay’s cricket team. Does that somehow reminds you of SRK playing the role a few years back for the movie Chak De

According to the bollywood reports, the shooting of this movie supposed to take place in London and its expected to release next year.

Music of this movie will be composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics will be penned by Sameer. This movie will feature Anushka Sharma as the lead actress. This movie will be her second movie after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The movie also stars Rishi Kapoor and Dimpla Kapadia.

Bollywood Gossip : Actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who were seen together in Namastey London, Welcome and Singh is Kinng, have teamed up again up in Priydarshan’s De Dana Dan.

The two are good friends even off the screen and are often sighted squabbling with each other. Recently, Katrina revealed something about the actor that not many people know of. ’Akshay loves his phone… he is on phone all the time. It is only when the shot is ready that he agrees to hang up.’

Akshay retaliates, ‘Katrina takes so much time to get ready that while she does so, I can can finish all my work and shoot for my bit.’
