There were tears of joy, loud applauses, standing ovations, love, laughter and bonding... it all happened on this big Bollywood night!

Like every year, this year too the stars walked the red carpet at the prestigious ‘55th Idea Filmfare Awards’ that took place on Saturday night.

The men looked dashing and suave; the women graceful in gowns.

The mood was cheerful, the expectations, high.

And the night fulfilled all dreams.

There was glitz, glam and entertainment galore.

Katrina Kaif was a stunner in an outfit by Rocky S., Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone showed off their well-toned bods in sleek black gowns.

Kangna Ranaut, who looked terrific in her pastel gown, was thrilled when she spotted her teenage idol Sridevi backstage.

“I had an album dedicated to Sridevi’s pictures all through my schooling years.

She is the only actress I can never get enough of!” she admitted.

Tabu played safe in a black saree but couldn’t stay long because she was running a fever.

The moment she gave the trophy to A. R. Rahman for Best Music Director for ‘Delhi - 6’, she left.

Incidentally this is Rahman’s 25th Filmfare trophy.

Urvashi Sharma dazzled in an outfit from Maya Weddings and Occasions by Gitanjali Lifestyle while Neetu Chandra’s watch by Chronotech and outfit by Maya Weddings and Occasions by Gitanjali Lifestyle too was eye-catching.

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s Morellati watch caught everyone’s eye.

The usually snobbish Kajol had an absolute blast watching her favourite co-star Shah Rukh Khan host the show along with Saif Ali Khan.

But she had come with a time limit; she wanted to leave in exactly half an hour and threw tantrums galore.

When her best friend Karan Johar lovingly admonished her and asked her to stop being a brat, she piped down a bit.

She greeted her Baazigar directors Abbas - Mustan with such affection that the men in white felt rather flattered!

Katrina, Deepika, Kareena, Shahid Kapoor all performed as did Riteish Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandes who brought the house down when they performed to a song from Warner Bros.
