Michael Jackson's Doctor Gets January 4th Court Date

Keeping up to date on the latest legal happenings, Joe and Katherine Jackson were side by side as they attended a hearing regarding Dr Conrad Murrays manslaughter case in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (August 23).

Joined by their son Randy, the parents of the late Michael Jackson made their way into the courtroom as the judge revealed that Dr Murrays preliminary hearing is to take place on January 4, 2011.

The court action comes after Dr Murray previously admitted to administering a powerful dose of the anesthetic propofol just before the King of Pop passed on at his Los Angeles home in June 2009.

Having entered a not guilty plea to the charge of involuntary manslaughter, Murrays defense team and prosecutors will gather in January to present their sides before the judge determines whether the charges merit a full trial.
